The Provincial Specialist Children's Hospital in Olsztyn provides newborns and infants with extensive diagnostics and comprehensive care of experienced specialists in the fields of neonatology, pediatrics, pediatric surgery, ophthalmology, pediatric neurology, rehabilitation, cardiology and hematooncology .

Specialist doctors working at the Children's Hospital in Olsztyn diagnose and treat diseases of the neonatal period and infancy, as well as diseases resulting from prematurity. In addition,  the Clinical Department of Neonatal Pathology and Congenital  Defects provides lactation counselling by an International Qualified Lactation Consultant.

Childrens’ Provincial Specialized Hospital  in Olsztyn is the only such institution in the province  and is one of the few in the country where a newborn is not only under the care of neonatologists, but if necessary is also consulted and treated by pediatricians of various sub-specialties and surgeons. The treatment may be continued in various Specialist Outpatient Clinics.
