CLINICAL SKILLS LABS 4 - schedule - summer semester 2023/24

Clinical Skills Labs 4 classes in the part implemented by the Department of Radiology are conducted by:

• Urszula Łączkowska, MD

Classes 1:

General introduction to ultrasound; biophysical basics of ultrasound; basics of abdominal and neck ultrasound.

The goal is for the student to become familiar with the biophysical basics of ultrasound and the basics of abdominal and neck ultrasound.

Classes 2:

Practical exercises: Abdominal ultrasound; to familiarize students with the pathologies seen in abdominal ultrasound.

The goal is for the student to learn how to perform abdominal ultrasound independently; to be able to recognize the pathologies visible in abdominal ultrasound.

Classes 3:

Practical exercises: Ultrasound of the neck; to familiarize students with the pathologies seen in ultrasound examination in the area of the neck.

The goal is for the student to learn to perform the ultrasound examination of the neck independently; to be able to recognize the pathologies visible in the ultrasound examination in the area of the neck.

Classes 4:

consolidation of acquired knowledge and theoretical and practical credit for the exercise.

The goal is for the student to consolidate the knowledge acquired during the previous classes and to take the theoretical and practical credit of neck and abdominal ultrasound.
