The Department of Radiology at the School of Medicine of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn was established by Senate Resolution No. 722 of 17 June 2011. The Head of the Department is Grzegorz Wasilewski, MD, PhD.

The Department of Radiology conducts classes for students of School of Medicine in such subjects as: Diagnostic Imaging 1/2, Diagnostic Imaging 2/2, Problem Based Learning 2/4, Integrated Modular Training 2, Clinical Skills Labs 4, and Clinical Skills Labs 5.

Clinical classes are held at the Clinical University Hospital in Olsztyn - Department of Radiology, the Regional Specialist Hospital in Olsztyn - Department of Radiology and Diagnostic, the Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration with the Warmia-Mazury Oncology Centre in Olsztyn - Department of Diagnostic Imaging and the Regional Specialized Children's Hospital in Olsztyn - Department of Diagnostic Imaging.
