As part of its statutory research, the Department of Radiology carries out scientific research in the field of:

• Multimodal imaging of the central nervous system in terms of demyelinating and neurodegenerative changes
• Multimodal imaging of the liver in terms of changes in the liver parenchyma and the degree of its steatosis
• Multimodal imaging of coronary arteries
• Multimodal imaging of changes in the maxillary sinuses and the alveolar processes of the maxilla and mandible
