The Laboratory of Neuroimmunology was created in 2019. In the first half of 2019, adaptation of the laboratory rooms of the Laboratory of Neuroimmunology at the Department and Department of Neurology was completed. In the second half of 2019, purchases and installation of scientific equipment will be used to implement the project. In this way, the following were obtained: incubator, thermocycler, ultracentrifuge, microcentrifuge, 4C refrigerators, -20C freezer and -80C ultra freezer, a set for creating single-cell transcriptome libraries. The laminar purchase procedure is underway. Cooperation with other units of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn will allow access to scientific equipment such as DNA, RN A and protein electrophoresis kits, ELISA reader, equipment for qualitative and quantitative analysis of RNA Nanodrop and Bioanalizer.

      Along with the assembly of the above equipment, required for the project, a tender procedure was commenced related to the purchase of a kit for digital polymerase chain reaction analysis (dPCR system). Access to the dPCR technique will be crucial for the implementation of the project. PLN 200,000 has been earmarked for the purchase of the dPCR system as part of the project funds. The purchase, installation and use of the dPCR kit will enable the further stages of the project to be carried out and the data to form the basis for future publications.
