schedule - Integrated and Interdisciplinary Training 2 - summer semester 

 

Exercises in the part implemented by the Department of Radiology are conducted by:

Exercise 1:

Familiarizing students with the theory of physical examination of the head, neck and ultrasound of the thyroid gland

The goal is for the student to become familiar with the physical examination of the head and neck, abnormalities occurring in this area of the body, examination scheme, basics of ultrasound of the neck (thyroid, salivary glands).

 

Exercise 2:

Practical part of the class, using the knowledge obtained in the previous classes, physical examination of the head and neck of students in pairs, performing ultrasound of the neck in pairs.

The goal is for the student to be able to perform a physical examination of the head and neck, to be able to recognize abnormalities occurring in this area of the body, to be able to perform an ultrasound of the neck (thyroid, salivary glands) independently.

 

Exercise 3:

Physical examination of the chest and abdominal cavity

The goal is for the student to learn to perform a physical examination of the chest and abdominal cavity. Examination on a standardized patient.

 

Exercise 4:

Fundamentals of abdominal ultrasound examination

The goal is for the student to understand how to perform an ultrasound examination of the abdomen, to combine the knowledge received in the anatomy class with the performance of the imaging examination.
