ACTIVITY
Aims of the Student's Scientific Club:
1. Directing student interest to the field of pathomorphology.
2. Expanding students' knowledge.
3. Promoting a modern, comprehensive approach to patients' problems.
4. Conducting scientific research submitted to both domestic and foreign scientific conferences.
5. Getting to know the methodology of scientific research through meetings with scientists.
Main goals of the Student's Scientific Club:
1. Participation in meetings of the Student's Scientific club.
2. Learning and improving the skills to recognize and properly differentiate morphological changes.
3. Developing skills in the use of scientific literature.
4. Solving diagnostic problems.
5. Discussing methods used in pathomorphology: electron microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, immunohistocghemistry and histochemistry, elements of molecular biology.
6. Macroscopic evaluation of the histological preparations.
7. Use of the light microscope.
8. Microscopic evaluation of histological preparations.
9. Basics of cytology.
10. Participation in autopsies.
11. TNM classification of malignant tumors.
12. Pathology of tjhe transplanted organ.
Activity of the Student's Scientific Club:
On March 23, 2019 in Warsaw, members of the Student Scientific Club: Kaja Majewska and Michał Gola, participated in the National Scientific and Training Conference "Wytrop Nowotwór VIII" where they presented the case "An unusual cause of anemia in a teenager".
