Research
The Physiology Department has four main research focus areas:
- Urology,
- Neurophysiology,
- Renal physiology and pathophysiology
- Cancer Molecular Biology/Physiology of gastrointestinal and reproductive systems.
Within these areas are research sub-groups focused on specific disease processes and physiologic concepts. Individual researchers within the Department maintain strong collaborative research links locally, nationally and internationally with both basic scientists and clinicians:
