Scientific Circle of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders is from

15.11.2010, it has no legal personality and as a group of student works at the School of Medicine, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

 

Aims and objectives:

1 Broaden students' knowledge in the field of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolic disorders.

2 Teaching practical skills in diagnosing diseases using modern diagnostic methods - in the form of hormonal tests, dynamic tests and imaging tests (ultrasound, CT, MRI, angio-CT and angio-MRI).

3 Acquiring the ability to combine theoretical and practical knowledge and use of the information learned for clinical analysis in selected cases.

4 To familiarize students with the basic techniques of conducting scientific

and participation in their publication.

5 Cooperation with other student organizations and civil society organizations.

6 Participation and organization meetings of student research.

7 Active cooperation in the organization of scientific meetings organized by the Clinic of Endocrinology, Diabetology, Internal Medicine.

8 Organization and participation in student academic camps.

 

RULES

SCIENTIFIC CIRCLES Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolic Disorders

School of Medicine

University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn

 

1 Scientific Circle Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders hereinafter referred to as the Circle, is based on the Higher Education Act of September 12, 1990 / Dz. Laws No. 65, item. 385 /, the Statutes of the University of Warmia - Mazury.

2 Scientific Circle Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders is a group of students of the School of Medicine of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

3 The activities of the  Scientific Circle Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders is regulated by rules of procedure (document and objectives).

4  Scientific Circle Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders has no legal personality and as a group of student works at the School of Medicine, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, hereinafter referred to as stress incontinence.

5 The seat of the  Scientific Circle Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders is University of Warmia and Mazury, School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine.

6 Circle may use the logo.

7 The purpose of the circle is to increase knowledge and interest in the field of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolic disorders.

Wheel fulfill its purpose, in particular by:

• The study of specialized literature,

• Laboratory and work in the hospital,

• Meetings and discussion

• Seminars, lectures and scientific work

• Presentations at scientific conferences,

• Promotion Department, Faculty and University in the country and abroad

8 The main assumptions of science circle activities

• Promoting knowledge of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolic disorders,

• The organization of workshops and field trips,

• Inviting experts from various fields of endocrinology, diabetology and metabolic disorders

• The organization of scientific seminars,

• Conducting research work,

• Facilitate students with access to literature,

• Collaborate with other student organizations and other universities,

9 Rights and obligations of members of the circle

• The members of the wheels this is  students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences.

• Members of the wheels have active and passive right to vote to all organs wheels.

10th Members of wheels have the right to:

• participate in the General Meeting of Members Wheels and reasoning in matters of statutory activity Wheels,

• participate in events organized by the Circle,

• use of funds Wheels,

• obtain information on the activities of the Board.

• participation in meetings Wheels,

• participation in the activities and projects Wheels,

• participation in conferences, trips.

11th Members of wheels have the responsibility:

• active participation in the work of Wheels,

• compliance with these regulations and resolutions of the Wheels.

12th Rights of Members wheels may be expired or lost.

13th Membership expires due to voluntary withdrawal. Membership shall be lost due to deletion from the list of members by the  President of the Board Wheels in the event of:

• commit an act derogatory dignity student

• acting to the detriment Wheels,

• pursuant to a resolution of the General Assembly Wheels,

• non-participation in the activities of wheels.

14th The highest authority is the General Assembly  Wheels members,which includes all members of the Association,  elect the President for a period of one year,  appointed and dismissed by the President of the absolute majority of votes.

At the request of the President of the General Assembly  Wheels chooses the other members of the Board.

15th All General Assembly  Wheels resolutions passed by an absolute majority of votes.

16th General Assembly  Wheels convened by the President, on his own initiative or at the request of two members of the Board or 10% of the members of the Association.

17th The Board consists of the President and four members of the Board.

Chairman and two members of the Board have the power to take decisions on financial matters wheels.

The wheel is represented by the President or a person authorized by him.

Chairman coordinates the work of the Board.

At the end of the academic year at a meeting of the President consists General Assembly  Wheels report on the activities of the Board.

18th Term lasts one year. No later than two weeks before the expiry of the term of office the President shall convene a meeting General Assembly  Wheels to elect a new Board of Directors.

19th Duties of members of the Scientific Circle of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders:

The President Wheels has directed the work required , coordinating the work of the Board, representing the wheels on the outside, and the other arising from the regulations.

Vice-President shall replace the President in his absence.

The Treasurer is required to post information about meetings Wheels, accepting membership fees, keeping records of members of the Circle.

20st Wheels tutor can be a  employee  Department of Internal Medicine.

21 Regulations come into force on the date of registration of research groups at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

22 Scientific and intellectual achievements resulting from the cooperation with the Scientific Circle of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Disorders and is subject to legal protection of intellectual property.

  • Studenckie Koło Nefrologiczne

Pursuant to art. 204-3 section 1 of the Act of 27 July 2005. Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2005 No. 164, item. 1365, as amended. Changes) at the Department of Nephrology, Hypertension and Internal Diseases, School of Medicine, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn was established Student Nephrology.

Circle brings together students of the Medical particularly interested in nephrology, giving them the opportunity to pursue their passion by participating in the daily work of the Department, meetings, deepening the theoretical knowledge and the research work.
Thanks to a fruitful cooperation with the Department of Employee and friendly Branches are held monthly meetings to discuss interdisciplinary most interesting clinical cases, and particularly troubling problems of modern nephrology and its related sciences.
Students currently Nephrology has several research projects.
In the near future it is planned to present the results of work wheels student conference, as well as in the form of scientific publications.
The objectives and tasks of Nephrology Student

The aim of wheels is:
1 Developing students' interests in the nephrology.
2 To increase the knowledge of students in the field of nephrology and related fields of science.
3 Developing skills of independent and collaborative problem-solving trials.
4 Developing the ability to use theoretical knowledge in practice.
5 Work Research.
6 Promoting Faculty and the University in the country and abroad.
The tasks of implementing the objectives of Wheels:
1 Regular meetings of the members of the Association.
2 Expanding knowledge of internal medicine with a special focus
the field of nephrology, especially through the analysis of clinical cases.
3 Participation in the daily work of the Department.
4 Work Research.
5 Presentation of research results at national and international meetings and conferences.
6 Presentation of research results in the form of scientific publications.
7 Participation in scientific events in the field of nephrology and related fields at home and abroad.
8 The organization of meetings and conferences.
9 Establishing and to cooperate with other student organizations.
10th And providing cooperation with research centers and NGOs.
11th Organization of actions promoting pro-health attitudes in society.
