The meetings of Scientific Circle of the Department of General and Minimally Invasive Surgery take place in the Nicolaus Copernicus Municipal Polyclinical Hospital in Olsztyn (44 Niepodległości Street). The members of the Circle are students of the Faculty od Medicine of the Collegium Medicum UWM.

The main goal of the Scientific Circle is to broaden up the knowledge and intrests of students in Surgery, Bariatric Surgery and related sciences, conduct research and analysis of results.
