Second Memorial of Professor Józef Maria Bocheński - 21.05.2022

On behalf of the Committee of the Memorial of Professor Józef Maria Bocheński, I have the honor to invite you to the Academic Farewell Ceremony.

The ceremonial burial of those who donated their bodies to science will take place on May 21, 2022 at 10.00 a.m. in the Congress Hall of the UWM Conference Center in Olsztyn (ul. B. Dybowskiego 11).

The Academic Burial Ceremony is a part of the Body Donation Program under the Memorial of Professor Józef Maria Bocheński. Body Donation Program was developed and maintained by the Department of Anatomy, Collegium Medicum of the UWM in Olsztyn.

The Ceremony will be attended by medical students, doctors and researchers of UWM in Olsztyn.

Ceremony Program:

• Welcome speech by the Head of the Department of Anatomy, Prof. Jerzy St. Gielecki, MD, PhD.
• Rector's of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn speech
• Speeches by the medical students of polish and english divisions
• Laying flowers by representatives of the authorities, students, doctors and academics
• Ecumenical service with the participation of representatives of Orthodox, Protestant and Catholic Churches
• Placing the Donators ashes in the Academic Columbarium in the Municipal Cemetery in Dywity.
