We are delighted to announce that the MedEd Polytrauma VR: Increasing quality of emergency medicine education through polytrauma virtual reality training project has successfully completed its pilot phase!

After rigorous testing, participant recruitment and a thorough analysis of feedback, we are moving into the implementation stage.

The insights gathered during our pilot sessions have been invaluable. Based on this feedback, we have refined the VR tool to ensure it meets the highest educational standards. Our goal was not just to build a tool, but to create a simulation environment that would truly prepare students for complex polytrauma scenarios.

Our current focus is on integration, particularly identifying which courses and modules would benefit most from VR. We are providing structured sessions for students. Each session now incorporates a feedback loop to ensure that the tool evolves in line with changing educational requirements and medical advances.
