We would like to kindly inform you that on March 01, 2023 we are starting a series of open lectures by Prof. Eckart Haneke from the University of Bern in Switzerland.

Lectures are organized as a part of the project "University of Great Opportunities - a program for improvment of teaching quality managemnt and teaching quality" POWR.03.05.00-00-Z201/18 Module 1. Implementation of international lecturers into the open lecturs given at the School of Medicine.

Dr. Eckart Haneke is an experienced dermatologist with sub-specialties in Allergology and Environmental Medicine. He is skilled in Dermatologic surgery, Dermatohistopathology, Onychopathology, Nail Surgery, Allergologic Testing, Vein Surgery, and Aesthetic Procedures. Dr. Haneke also provides extensive teaching to medical students, residents, postgraduate conferences and courses, dermatologic surgery, and nail surgery courses.

Dr. Eckart Haneke holds a private practice in Dermatology in Germany. In addition, he is a Senior Consultant at the Dermatology Center at Instituto CUF Porto, Portugal. Dr. Haneke is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Dermatology at Ghent University Hospital in Belgium and the University of Bern in Switzerland.

Dr. Eckart Haneke published over 400 articles and 200 book chapters. He is an author of 8 books and co-editor of 8 books. Moreover, he presented more than 1600 lectures at national and international meetings. Dr. Haneke is also an active participant in associations. He is a Founding Member, a long-term member of the Board of Directors, and a past Vice-president of the German Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He is also the Past President of the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, German Working Group Dermatohistopathology, European Nail Society and European Society of Cosmetic & Aesthetic Dermatology.
