The Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Diseases was established by the decision of the Senate on September 23, 2011.
The Head of the Department until December 2020 was prof.Andrzej Kukwa, MD, PhD, DSc.
From January 1, 2021, the head of the Department became Hanna Zajączkiewicz, PhD, prof. UWM.
