Sucess of our medical students of the Collegium Medicum UWM in Olsztyn
The 3rd Edition of the Polish Championships in the Surgical Suture of Medical Students took place on November 29th and 30th in Zielona Góra. 20 teams representing medical universities, circles and student associations from all over Poland competed in a 4-person team. In the competition the students had to show remarkable precision and composure in the sewing of the skin, subcutaneous tissue as well as the digestive tract fusion.
The goal of the championship was to increase knowledge about the surgical stitching techniques as well as to integrate the student communities around the country.
We are pleased to announce that the winners of the competition were the team of School of Medicine Collegium Medicum University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn: Patrycja Michalik, Szymon Maciejewski, Paweł Lipiński and Maciej Szewczyk
