The Department of Rehabilitation was established by the decision of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Senate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn - Resolution No. 17 of 16 June 2008. Within its organizational structure a Rehabilitation Clinic has been established with a Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic.

The Department deals with the education of students in the field of medical rehabilitation and the implementation of other medical subjects in the fields of medicine, nursing, medical rescue and nutrition.

The Rehabilitation Clinic provides services in the field of orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation in the stationary (25 beds),  day-stay and outpatient clinics.
